THE FELICITY STATION • FOR FELICITY
The Phone Call

The Origin Story
Felicity Anne Carper was a woman of immense grace and depth. Born in Australia, she carried a spirit that was both gentle and remarkably strong. Our journey together began long before the music ever found its permanent home on the airwaves. We were married twice—once in a quiet, intimate ceremony that belonged only to us, and again on a beautiful Australian wedding day on 16 November 2002, surrounded by those who loved us. Felicity was my partner in every sense: in work, in music, and in the quiet sanctuary we built at Wandana Cottage. She was the one who encouraged my wildest ideas and grounded my restless spirit. Her life was defined by a quiet dignity and an unwavering capacity for love.
I miss her so much.
WHY I BUILT THE FELICITY STATION
The Felicity Station wasn't just an idea; it was a necessity. After losing Felicity, I needed a way to process the silence. I wanted to build something that reflected the beauty she brought into the world—something that used the creative tools we both valued to reach others. It is rooted in her memory, but it branches out to include the community, the music, and the shared journey of all who listen. It is a living legacy designed to provide comfort and inspiration, much like she did.
ONE OF THE LAST THINGS FELICITY TRIED TO GET ME TO DO
I decided I would.
STARTING IT ON MY BIRTHDAY
Choosing to launch this station on my birthday was a way of reclaiming the day. It transformed a personal milestone into a day of giving and creation. It was the first broadcast of a new life, one that carries her with me into every new year.
SONGS MADE FOR FELICITY
The music you hear here is deeply personal. Manys were written specifically for her, played for her in the quiet hours at home. While The Felicity Station has grown to be larger than a memorial—it is a functional, creative hub—it will always be rooted in the songs and the love we shared. Every note is infused with her presence.
WHY THE NAME WILL STAY
When The Felicity Station is playing, her name is still travelling with the signal.
POSITIVE MUSIC — WHY NOT LOVE?
WHY NOT LOVE?
THE FELICITY STATION
The Felicity Station is where the signal, the land, the journey, and the people meet.
Felicity Memorial Video
"I made this video for Felicity’s funeral. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I wanted the world to see the Felicity I knew—the girl who loved the beach, the woman who loved Wandana, and the soul who loved music."
"Making it reminded me that the signal doesn’t stop just because the person does. Carrying Felicity forward through the Station is how I find my way now."
